Sun Hing Garden is a large‑scale residential development first completed in 1986, comprising five residential blocks with a total of approximately 1,460 units. After decades of exposure to Hong Kong’s challenging climate, the building exterior and roof areas required a comprehensive renovation to restore performance, improve durability, and extend the building’s service life.
Sika’s System‑Based Renovation Solution
For this project, Sika delivered a complete facade renovation system, covering rendering, sealing, waterproofing and tiling works. Instead of focusing on single‑product applications, the renovation was designed and executed as a coordinated system, providing comprehensive protection and enhanced service life.
