FineMonofilament Polypropylene Fiber

SikaFiber® 106 is a fine mono-filament fiber which significantly reduce plastic shrinkage cracking and explosive spalling of concrete during fire. 

  • Enable binding of concrete in the early suring stages to maximizing crack control 
  • Significantly redusing any increase in moisture pressure with the concrete structure during fire 
  • Uniquely designed and packaged allowing to be evenly dispersed through the matrix, ensuring that no balling or pumping problems occur.

Application steps

APPLICATION

The recommended dosage rate of SikaFiber®-106 is 1.0-2.0kg/m3. Entire packages are thrown into the mix allowing for easy handling leaving no waste on site. 

Allow 3 to 5 minutes at mixing speed for fibers to disperse evenly throughout matrix. SikaFiber®-106 can be added to the mix at any stage during batching.
