SikaInject®-155

1-Component PU Injection Foam

SikaInject® -155 is a solvent-free, 1-component polyurethane foam which reacts in contact with humidity or water. The system consists of a base resin and an accelerator (catalylst, CAT).

Reaction time

Reaction time depends on ground temperature and product temperature, as well as accelerator dosage (see table). Site trials should be performed in advance to establish the required reaction time.

Application steps

MIXING

  • Ad the accelerator to SikaInject®-155

  • Up to 10% depending on required reaction time

  • Mix quickly and thoroughly

  • Inject the mix by using a 1-C-pump

  • Groundwater/ -moisture initiates the foaming reaction

  • In case of dry ground, flush the borehole with water prior to injection

 

CLEANING OF TOOLS

During short breaks in injection procedure, pump and hoses should be filled with non-accelerated resin to avoid blockages.

After injection process pump cleaning agent (e.g. SikaInject®-CL2) or waterfree hydraulic oil through pump and hoses until SikaInject®-155 is completely washed out.

Store pump and hoses filled with cleaning agent or oil and seal all openings.
