Monoprufe® WS

Flexible Cementitious Waterproofing Slurry

Monoprufe® WS is a cement-based polymer modified waterproofing system, which is applied to concrete and mortar substrates to prevent the ingress of water. Supplied as a two-component material, Monoprufe® WS is a blend of polymers, cements, graded fillers and chemical binders. The two components are simply mixed at site to form a highly workable coating, which is either sprayed, roller or paint applied to the prepared substrate.

Storage conditions

Stored properly in undamaged and unopened original sealed packaging in the dry conditions at temperature range 5 oC to 35 oC. Protect from direct sunlight and frost.

Application steps

MIXING

Pour all of the liquid component into a clean dry mixing container and mix using a slow speed drill fitted with a paddle. Slowly add the powder component into the liquid and continue to mix. When all of the powder has been added, increase the mixing speed and continue to mix to produce a lump free slurry.

APPLICATION

Spray, roller or brush apply Monoprufe® WS in two coats. The second coat should be applied at right angles to the first and after the first coat has cured for 2–4 hours.

 

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT

Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.
