SikaTop®-103 Seal

Polymer-modified cementitious waterproofing slurry

SikaTop®-103 Seal is supplied as a two component material, a blend of polymers, cements, graded fillers and chemical binders. It is a polymer modified cementitious waterproofing slurry. It is applied to concrete and mortar to prevent water infiltration. The two components of SikaTop®-103 Seal are simply mixed at site to form a highly workable coating, which can be brushed or roller applied to the prepared substrate.

Shelf Life

9 months from the date of production

Storage Conditions

Store in cool and dry conditions in the original and unopened packaging. Exposure to high humidity and high temperature may reduce the shelf life.

Application steps

MIXING

Pour all of the liquid component into a clean dry mixing container and mix using a slow speed drill fitted with a paddle. Slowly add the powder component into the liquid and continue to mix. When all of the powder has been added, increase the mixing speed and continue to mix to produce a lump free slurry.

APPLICATION

Roller or brush apply SikaTop®-103 Seal in two coats. The second coat should be applied at right angles to the first and after the first coat has cured for 2–4 hours.

Avoid application in strong direct sunlight or drying winds. Observe material pot life and do not re-work or add water.

   

Sika® SealTape F is a recommended product to be used in conjunction with SikaTop®-103 Seal in order to achieve advanced water tightness in wet rooms and around wet area.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use.
