Cho Yiu Chuen is built over 40 years and locates in Kwai Chung. Its name is given by Sir Cho Yiu Kwan, one of the founders of Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS).
Cho Yiu Chuen is located on mid-level of Kwai Chung. The reinforced concrete is degenerate due to high relative humidity environment to accelerate carbonation.
Project Requirement
Sika® FerroGard® sacrificial anode is applied to diminish the incipient corrosion effects in the reinforcement bar between the fresh mortar in patch repairs and the surrounding zone of concrete.
The simple monitoring system also provides an effective way to measure the condition of the sacrificial anodes.
