Everbright Centre is a grade A office building located in Wanchai core business district. The building was completed in 1991 with more than 30 years history.
Project Requirement
Due to the aggressive outdoor conditions, cracks and water leakage problems occurred at various areas on the roof. Not only that, the roof had also suffered from ponding water and tile damage.
The owner decided to repair cracked area and applied new waterproofing material that can provide superior waterproofing function.
The new waterproofing membrane must be high performance and durable to weather demanding outdoor conditions. Sprayed applied material was selected to achieve fast application and rapid curing result.

Sikafloor®-156 (Floor Primer)
The product is a 2-part, low viscosity, multipurpose, epoxy resin which can be used as an epoxy primer, levelling mortar and mortar screed.
Sikalastic®-8800 (Spray Applied Membrane)
It is a 2- part, pure polyurea, hot spray applied, elastic, 100 % solids, very fast curing, waterproofing and protection membrane. The fast curing allows an immediate return-to-service time and the spray application allows fast coverage of the substrate.

It is a synthetic rubber emulsion that is used as admixture for cementitious bonding bridges and high quality site-mix mortars
