Anti-slip Surfacing at Tai Wo Hau Estate

Project Requirement

The walkway floor was finished with granite tiles, but the anti-slip performance was diminished due to wear & tear from the daily foot traffic.

In order to reduce the risk of slip and fall accidents, anti-slip treatment must be provided on the walkways before the rainy season.

The management office was looking for durable, anti-slip, fast curing materials that could be applied onto existing tile surfaces. The walkway could be re-opened to traffic on next day.
